Arli the Dragon's Beauty School Application
Dear Head of the Fairy Beauty School, My name is Arli, and I am a dragon. I am writing this application with great enthusiasm and a burning desire to become a part of your esteemed beauty school, despite being well aware that it primarily admits fairies. As a dragon, I understand that I am different from the typical candidates you receive, but I believe my unique perspective and passion for beauty can contribute to a more inclusive and diverse learning environment. Throughout history, dragons have often been portrayed as fierce and powerful creatures, feared by many. But beneath my scales and fiery breath, beats a heart that longs to explore the artistry and magic of beauty. I have spent countless hours observing fairies and other magical beings, admiring their elegance, creativity, and ability to enhance the world around them. I wish to learn from the best and hone my skills, not only for my personal growth but also to challenge the stereotypes associated with dragons. I am deeply

The Girl Who Heard Colors
Christy never thought of herself as a normal girl, even though she had normal interests, a normal appearance, and lived with a normal family. What was completely different about her was that she could see colors whenever she read or heard sounds. For example, when she heard a bell, she saw silver, and when a dog barked, she saw red. This was because Christy had synesthesia, which meant her senses were completely mixed up. Christy believed that her synesthesia was something that made her completely different than anyone else she knew. While normal people saw colors, heard sounds, or tasted flavors, synesthetes like Christy experienced something so much more. Christy’s world was filled with a brightness that came from all directions. But it didn’t stop at seeing colors whenever she heard sounds. She also heard sounds when she saw certain shapes, saw light coming from people who walked by, felt music like it was a beating heart, and saw temperatures. It had always been like this. She

Justin-97 Subject: I had these nightmares about a demented man in a bunny suit… I was perusing these Nightmare forums and stumbled upon this about childhood nightmares. It triggered an old memory I haven’t thought up in years, and I thought I would share it. I don’t usually comment or post stuff like this, but I need to because it scared me so much as a kid. I know this sounds a cliche, but I would get into bed and close my eyes, and when they opened again, I wasn’t in my bedroom anymore. I was in this weird school…I think it was a Japanese or Korean school. It didn’t seem like any school in America that I know of. The freakiest part was the school's appearance; the environment was made of nothing but lines and scribbles. No color at all, just black lines making up everything in sight from the walls to the floor and even the furniture. The lines were all uneven, just crazy, overlapping, and zig-zagging lines everywhere like some demented child’s drawing. It was like I stepped into a

N:Era: Vixen of the Dead
"Vixen of the Dead" Even after all the work to return people's emotions, several crystals hung on the palace wall, glinting with red anger or purple fear. Their colorful, almost flirtatious, display only occasionally captured the diners' attentions. Queen Raynfall enacted this "criminal therapy" as an ill-advised attempt to protect Glacialane, even helping herself with her newfound remedy. But instead of ruling more logically, she slumped. Without emotion, there was no logical reason to care about survival. Cyras sat at her right, eyeing her over the sea of food. When she fought the queen, her will won out—her battle prowess was insufficient—but even after Queen Raynfall admitted her wrongdoing, the rebuilding process took time. Honestly, if the Queen's cabinet didn't notice she was depressed, then the chefs should have. The dining lounge was filled with offerings to the altar of Raynfall in the form of fatty cakes drizzled with chocolate. Vanilla wafers. Cocoa sprinkles. She
It starts off as a tiny dot of a dark void. As the minutes go by, it gets bigger...slowly. Beginning to swallow things in its wake. There’s a low hum. Things feel calm as it gets bigger, yet it seems a scary thing. But I am not afraid of it. I walk towards it. Confidence brimming in me, and walking straight. Eyes never backing down. Footsteps careful and slow, as I enter the void. I do not know if I’ll be back or not, but I keep walking. And Walking. Being swallowed up in darkness. Can’t look back. Won’t look back. Have to move forward through it. Will there be a light at its end? A shimmer for me to reach out for? Greet me with a new destination on the other side? Or will I forever be swallowed by the darkness. I can’t be so negative. Hope lies at the bottom of it all. Have to keep going. Keep on walking. All I see is dark. But my head is held high. I told myself to not look back, and yet I do. It seems that the darkness has completely consumed me. But I shrug it off. I keep moving

Once she really got better, she decided to rent out her own hall and put in her own recital

Give Yourself Too Much Credit II
At the clothing store in town, Colleen browsed through the merchandise until she spotted a pair of green overalls. They were all folded up and sitting on a shelf full of other colors and lined up altogether as if they formed a rainbow. Colleen grabbed the pair off the shelf, unfolded it and wondered how cute she would look in them if she were to try them on. “I think these overalls would make me an adorable elf,” Colleen said and imagined herself wearing them and running in them. “How can I resist how cute this one is? I must buy it!” Colleen dug into her dress pocket and then took out an amount of a hundred credits she “borrowed” without Todd’s permission. since she’s the one who manages the household funds. But knowing Colleen, she would think she borrowed them to buy herself something nice like a pair of overalls. She then headed to the counter and handed the clerk the credits and successfully purchased them. Colleen became happy she had enough to buy the overalls and then quickly
